I just purchased and eliptical machine from someone used, I love it, My husband and I are getting fit and trying to beceome healthier lol. I am hoping that this site and the elip will help me to loose about 40 lbs ... I am tryn to get the doctors off my back lol

I just joined. Trying to put myself back on the right track after my medicne has been skrewing with my wieght as well as injuries keeping me down.
I am having troubles with my ifit cards working in my Elliptical. The Demo card that came with the machine works fine, but when I insert the Level 1 or 2 cards, the light turns on for a second, beeps, then turns off. Any one have any suggestions why this is occuring??? You can msg me back... Thank you =)

just turned 27 on monday dont want to be over 200 pounds when I am 30 want to be a cool 155 when I am 30. I believe cross trainning is the way to go for me I cant do the same thing over and over
I just started using the Ifit tracker to keep track of my inputs (calories) and outputs (excercise). I couldn't believe it this morning when after only 1 week I had lost 5 lbs. I quess I was fooling myself when I used to tell myself I didn't need to track my eating. The only other change was a slight increase in exercise (2 days a week water aerobics and a bit more walking). I hope week 2 shows similar results!
Hey everyone! I'm also new to the site. I am looking to lose 20-25 pounds ASAP... Not sure how I got up to 170, but it's time to get back to where I was! I'm a single parent, two boys ages 4 and 5, and you would think that would keep me active enough... apparently not! My husband just put my Mother's Day present together, an eliptical! I am so excited to use it and I am very motivated to loose weight! I have purchased the level 1 card...do anyone know if I have to start with the card or just the settings on the machine first?
HI, my husband and I need to loose weight. Right now neither of us have the money to buy the card for the 8 week program, but hope to soon. We just got the machine and now today job has decreased hours. more time to exercise though. Wish there was a discount on the cards or some way to get them for less. Will use my bike though as best I can. I need support.
Just received my incline trainerx3 wow! really had a good workout with level 1. I am about 170lbs. Need to lose 25lbs.

Wow I feel like I've lost some weight already just by being on a low carb(Dr. Adkins) and walking on the treadmill. But this is for health reasons as well. Well I hope the best to all the other ones as well.
Hi my name is Teresa just bought a proform 480 le with ifit card 8 week trainer. Have been up and down with my weight for years for the first time just hit 230lbs hate myself for it too.just need any suggestion on how to get down at least 75 lbs work nights system completely off especially when it comes to eatting due to my nights being my days but not only that sit behind a desk for 8 hrs. please help with any suggestions desperate.
Finally got my treadmill assembled. Still waiting for my Level 1 ifit card that is supposedly on back order. Gonna order some new ones though. In the meantime, I'm using it manually with my music. Good luck to everyone, spring is almost here, time to take the coats off!!
I just bought an Elliptical. I first thought it would be too hard on my legs. After using it for 20 mins, I can see the workout I can achieve. I love that I can burn a good amount of calories.

Hello everyone. I just joined ifit. I bought a T7si treadmill and the level 1 for weight loss and body sculpting. I did the weight loss workout yesterday and all I can say is MAN I"M OUT OF SHAPE!!!!!LOL! My goal is to lose 95 pounds. I'm diabetic so I'm determined to get this weight off!
Just bought a new treadmill that still has to be assembled. Looking forward to doing IFit. Have gained 10 lbs since Thanksgiving, but am trying to lose 15. I have already lost 4. I am an avid walker during the spring and summer when the weather is nice but need motivation in the winter. Here's hoping that ifit will do the trick.

I will be 50 this Sept...WOW I feel old. I want to feel good and look good. I'm watching my carbs. You said you set at a desk. I work at a desk also. I hold in my tummy as much as I can. I drink as much a 10 glasses of water a day. Sometimes even more. I eat alot of tuna. I like to eat a egg and salad mixed together. I love hot sauce. I put it on everything. We can do it!!
I have just finished getting my Post-Bacc in Elementary Ed and have been sitting for 18 months in front of my computer. I want to be fit and health so that I can walk up a flight of stairs without being winded. I have been neglecting myself for too long. I have purchased the resistance tubes and have the exercise ball. I also own a dinosaur treadmill, but it still works. Any suggestions! By the way I am over 40 years old...

I set a time - between 4 - 5:30 - when I have to start my workout. I''ve talked with my 3 year old about mommy needing to be healthy. She knows I snore and I tell her I have to walk with Jillian so I can stop snoring and making so much noise. I tell her I need to walk so I can have a smaller belly and be stronger. Then I set her up with a few toys and books, (ok, and a winnie the pooh video) and ask her to please let me walk with Jillian so I can be healthy.
I do Jillian''s walking, the same one for two days in a row, then rest one day. Plus I walk for 40 minutes after Jillian''s routine, and I do an everyother day weight training (without the weights - I''m still a week one weak one.)

I just got my new treadmill and I gotta say the T7si with the ifit card technology is the best thing I've spent money on. I tried the Level 1 workout for weight loss and I was amazed. Can't weight to see how much weight I can pull off.
I'm just so tired. How can I get the energy I need to start an exercise routine? I have a pinched siadica which makes sitting, standing, walking, lying down... painful. My diet sucks! I'm at a loss. Help!

this is my 1st time using ifit, we just bought our treadmill...where can you get the ifit meal plan? I had surgery 3 years ago on my knee and can't run or jog outside because i can't make it back home so being in my home works great i can stop whenever my knee acts up and i'm already home :)

There is a great new tool on iFit. Now you can track calories in and calories out with the exercise and nutrition log. Just click on the My iFit tab.

Today is my 1st day using the iFIT eating program and my treadmill. Went well today. I feel good and I know that I'll sleep well tonight! lol I have 25 lbs. to lose and at 51 it is hard than it has ever been to lose the weight. I just hope I can hang in there and keep motivated.
I've had my ifit machine for 2 years and just looked at it. I have started with workout CD and I am loving it. But how do I know what to eat along with the execise so I can keep shedding and not quit? I have 100 pounds to lose and my goal is 40 by Christmas Any ideas?

I had my second child 4 months ago. I've lost around 30 pounds since her birth, but I still have thirty to go. It's so frustrating. I seem to have hit a plateau. At first the pounds were just coming off, but the last two months have been really hard. I've only lost 5 lbs.
I took a test on line about how old you actually are body wise well I am actually 36 years old and when my test came back I was really not surprised by the results, it said I was 49.2 years old. So here I am exercising and trying to get back in shape. So, I need all the help I can get as far as encouragement goes. Thanks Pam
