I love running, i think it's the most effective but running outside on the street, and especially on treadmills kills my knees.  what should i do? and what are the best shoes for running

IFit programs

I have been running for a few years now and last year I bought a treadmill with IFit capablility. I am now just purchasing the IFit programs at the high levels. I am currently running about 5-7km three times a week and hope to increase that to 10km using the IFit programs. Has anyone else tried these higher levels? Are they a great workout?

I started by doing 10-15 mintues...it is hard because I haven't workout intensely before and this was the first time I was really going to commit to something. I receive my Ifit card level 1 and I think its good. Its better to start small.

Anybody out there!

So i'm not a fitness freak (yet), I always thought running was for other people - not me. I have been introduced to walk / run interval training on the treadmill with a modest goal of a solid ten minute run. I can currently do a minute run with a minute walk ish for 10mins - Is anyone else doing the same?
