Got on the treadmill like I had hoped. Getting back to my hour long jogs is harder than I thought it would be. I made it 18 minutes, plus 2 minutes of stretching. I think running the stairs the last two nights at work helped encourage me tonight. I even got my husband to get on the recumbent for 5 minutes (which is an accomplishment in itself).

Did the five flights of stairs twice again at work last night. Hopefully I can get my butt on the treadmill today.

Ran the stairs during my lunch brake. Stairs are the worst for me, but i went up and down the five flights twice. Heart was pounding, couldn't breathe, and I was sweating in my uniform, but I did it. It was better than nothing. I'm usually on my feet all night anyway (I'm a nursing assistant at a hospital) but if i could do the stairs while at work I suppose that could help me keep on track.

Well I haven't done a lot this week aside from my workout on Monday and clearing fallen trees from my yard wednesday. I've done good watching my calories, but thats not hard. I'm having trouble setting a schedule for working out. I work from 7p to 7a three random days a week. Any suggestions? I know my weight loss did better when it was a consistent time every day.

Day one for me! I only did about 20 min. but I burned over 140 cal. A few years ago i lost 42lb. I swore i wouldn't let myself gain weight again, but here i am 3 years later and have gained back 27 of my pounds. SO i am starting new. I plan to loose another 47 lb. to reach my goal weight of 170. Life had beat me down, but getting back up feels great!
