This website [and the ifit module] sucks. I've called into support countless times since Jan of this year.I bought two machines and two ifit modules. The modules are basically a waste of time and money. I would have saved a BOAT LOAD of money on the purcahse of the machines had I not gone with the IFIT compatible ones. And I wouldn't have had to had I known how mindless and lazy the Procom/Ifit programmers, web site developers, software engineers, and customer service reps were and are. I've made multiple suggestions for easy improvements that would amount to nothing more than changing a few characters in one or two lines of code and in 5 months, IFIT employees, programmers, software engineers have done NOTHING ! NOTHING! to correct the many problems with the website. Most of the time, they don't even understand the issue or the nature of the problem.

They do NOT possess even rudimentary trouble resolution skills, and they fail miserably in the use of basic [ high school level] reason. logic and critical thinking skills. For example, I asked them to enable the ability to "EDIT" the workouts; most particularly, the workout name so that I could easily differentiate the productive workouts from the bad ones. But, they couldn't even accomplish that simple correction in 5 freaking months. Also, I've done numerous workouts from the IFIT published, public "Library" of workouts and those workouts rarely even show up in my workout history. Additionally, I've created many map based "challenges," sent invitations to IFIT friends and those created challenges don't "post" correctly and/or "AT ALL" to any of th "CHALLENGE" pages available. All the programmers and software engineers should be fired and an, at least, semi-professional support team should be hired. Simply stated THERE IS NO SUPPORT.

I typically wouldn't comment to a rant like this but feel compelled to do so here, Have you had contact with the programmers, software engineers, website developers, etc? A customer service rep is not going to understand programming code. Website developers, software engineers, etc don't just do things based on one persons request - they're probably not even aware of the request. All re-programming costs a company and no matter how simple a task may seem, the programmers, developers & customer service reps are not the ones that make the decisions. I feel you are being very unfair. I understand the frustration and am sorry for the difficulties you've had but I think your dissatification isn't being directed to the responsible parties.

several people have suggested that we would be able to edit workouts. He is not the only person to suggest that. There are two types of people on this site. People who have issues with almost everything ( because they are the unlucky ones- not that they are complainers) and people who have no issues. I dont think his request was unreasonable. If he paid to use this site, he wants to use it and not deal with all the issues. SO i dont see why people jump on someone who isnt satisfied with the ifit program. If you bought 2 machines and 2 moduals, i bet you would be mad if it didnt work right. I know during all my frustrations ( which are not all fixed but pointless to post my complaints ) i was very mad that i spent so much money on a machine that advertised things i was not really getting with ifit. Until you have multiple issues i dont think you can really appreciate someones frustrations. 2 moduals, 2 treadmills. and a ifit membership has to be a TON of money. I feel bad for him. And i do understand completely what he is going thru. I always thought that until people are in a situation that makes their machines useless, they do not understand peoples frustrations. I still also think that most people do not realize that the workouts and anything you buy here --- marathon training programs-- do not actually go to your machine. So if you chose to not keep a ifit membership, or if you cant connect due to internet issues, nothing you purchased can be used. That never sat well with me. SO i feel bad for people with issues. 2 machines and 2 moduals plus membership is a TON of money and i dont think people should give this guy a hard time. who wouldnt be upset after that bill??? lastly, he is not the only one who ever complained about workouts not posting either. His issues are issues several people have had.

Last I checked, membership is what? $100 for a year? That's what? A bit over $8 dollars a month! WOW. You still have the treadmills or elliptical or whatever you bought. Go for it. The iFit membership is 8 dollars a month. Please work out on your treadmill or elliptical or whatver you bought and disable the iFit and don't worry about it. As indicated above, there are a variety of issues associated with making changes to a website or the application. Their machine is NOT useless. It's just the iFit that isn't working. And it's not that it's not working, it's that it's not doing exactly what the member wants it to do.

I am not saying HIS machine was useless. MINE was useless because it was in a loop screen because of ifit issues and i could not even turn it on to use without ifit. SO i am saying i understand his frustrations. ANd machines that dont have ifit capability ( weather you purchase ifit or not ) are cheaper. So he could have bought a cheaper machine from the get go if he knew that ifit was going to be a issue for him. Just wanted to clear up my comment

and about the 8 dollars a month... if you saw 8 dollars on the sidewalk, would you walk by it or pick it up?? ---- its just 8 dollars--- I'd pick it up. It doesnt matter if its 8 dollars , 20 dollars a month or 100 dollars a month, you should get services you pay for. Would you want to pay 100 dollars and not be able to use it??? I would bet you would want your money back.

I was just clarifying my statement is all. I have to say, i actually asked ifit customer service about that exactly. I asked them if this was a beta program. It does seem to me to be in a "pre release" for use stage. The customer service told me this was not a beta program. I have most of my concerns resolved, but have a few still pending that i am tired of trying to get fixed so i more or less gave up on it. Maybe Mick can ask for a refund or something. They have suggested to me, to tack on a extra year for free. I definately do not want that as compensation. I already bought 2 years when i joined. My expectations were high due to how it was advertised on Tv. I specifically bought this to run the great wall of china. ( the treadmill and ifit - i already owned a treadmill previous to this purchase ) The great wall is not an option. In the commercial it stated you can run anywhere in the world. Not true. I wish i had a 2 week free trial somehow before i bought a new machine and the membership. It is what it is now, and i like the machine itself- allthough, it has a issue knocking when it inclines or declines. I have read on message boards elsewhere this is a common problem for my specific machine. SO I have it on both ends. Frustration with the actual machine ( not ifit related ) and ifit issues still with maps longer than 4 miles. My point is i do not make a point to gripe about it anymore because it doesnt help any and some people on the board get very touchy with those having negative issues. SO all i can say to Mick is this.... if the membership is on a credit card, and you did not get your services that were advertised to you, you can get a refund from the credit card company. Even if Ifit doesnt want to oblige that. I myself feel the commercial was very misleading. I just feel Mick is in the same boat i was/am in.

Cindy, my treadmill knocks on the incline and decline too. I use the noise as a signal that the incline is changing and adjust my pace accordingly. Not ideal, but trying to make a very small positive out of the situation.

Cindy and Dianne You're both awesome. I just got a refund from IFIt for both modules...$250.26 which includes the shipping cost for both. Also, Proform is coming out to retrieve this CRAPPY hybrid Trainer and refunding me the $800.00. Hoo - ah !!!!!!

I agree with Diane. I have a Proform E935 Elliptical, which is iFit enabled, not with module. I love it. It's only 4 months old, but no problems with Street View maps, or workouts not loading, or screen freezing or any of the other numerous complaints I've read about here. I guess the extra cost up front is worth it so I don't have issues afterwards.

i have the nordic track 1750. IFIT enabled---no module-- and i hate to report i have had issues since day 1. even today, map ( as usual ) went out after mile 4. It goes out different times, but anything over a 4 mile run, the maps go out every time.

Yes. It's clear that iFit customer support and their software sucks. I just finished 25 minutes of hold. My treadmill will not sync and the total sum of their suggestions to fix it so far has been "Are you on Google Chrome?" and "Have you tried your phone?"

I still hate ifit. Its the single worst investment i have ever made. Its glitchy and crappy and i dont even come here anymore. If your post didnt make it to my email, i wouldnt even bother responding. Its too bad they still havent gotten their act together. Its just pure crap and my membership expires next month and i am totally fine with that. Again, automatic updates ( which i have turned "OFF" ) have once again destroyed the functionality of my treadmill and its (AGAIN) stuck in a loop. I am not bothering fixing it until my membership expires next month because it will just happen again and AGAIN, i will have to take apart my machine. Not worth it. I never had maps that i could view consistantly the whole way thru, this has been a 2 year nightmare for me and i am happy to see it end next month. I advise everyone i know that this is pure junk and customer support is awful, if they dont believe me, i just let them read all about icons failures in the BBB. So so many people are dissatisfied and have filed complaints with the BBB ( that speaks volumes and a person cant deny this company is awful ) Counting the days to my membership expiring next month. I have never looked forward to something ending so much as this awful membership. And i see, ifit is no better now, than a year ago. same issues. a shame. I am surprised they are still in business.

After waiting two months for the iFit Vue that was included in membership, I can't seem to get it set up. Support is non-existent, very frustrating. Haven't had much luck with the entire iFit membership since day one. Can't recommend it to anyone. Street view works when it wants to, can't set up a workout, website support is horrible.

my treadmill is brand new. this morning would be my 3 rd time using it. it worked great last night. this morning it won't even work. the motor, fan works but ifit won't load so i can't even use my treadmil. it acts like it's going to load and does it's thing then the start screen comes on for a second and then goes to a white screen and just stays there. what a complete waste of money. i am feeling totally ripped off.

Told by support today that ifit Bluetooth app is no longer supported, told to use the ifit cardio app, went to download and Google play site says not available in your country. Contact ifit support told nothing they can do, it's my tablet. I own a digital marketing company and have access to 6 different makes, models of tablet, all have same error, drop Bluetooth connection as soon as I try and start a workout. Ifit offered me an extra month free - for a product that has no app that works with my device - just shows the lack of intelligence!!! I'm sending £1000 machine back and demanding a refund under the grounds that it simply is NOT ifit compatible. Ifit the company are truly thoughtless, useless and 100% don't care once they have your money!

Off line why.. update. I have a commercial 2950 with the large screen.After working with their help desk. .here is what I have to do. Each day I use the machine I have to do the firmware update then when done I have to flip the switch on the front and unplug. This lets me work out with ifit about 85% of the time. The other is the weird connectivity issues

The module is sucks, Crashing often. In a middle of a run iFit just crash and restart. Had to start the same work out from beginning! Well I did not and gave up my training that day. Such a demotivated when it’s not working as it should. Website also sucks when using mobile to try to editing training. This is a technology that remain me of a 10 years delay and should improve as soon as possible before costumers run off. There is a lot of better app out there like Fitbit. Fix it please

i have stopped using ifit completely- i am a much more relaxed person because of it. I have to warn others, when you stop, you have to take out the internet connection from the treadmill (even if you dont pay anymore ) I thought when i stopped paying, the updates would stop. NO!!!!! They still come thru and disable the whole treadmill. It hasnt been working for over a year now. ( treadmill is STILL in a ifit loop and stuck ) The next time i take it apart and fix it, i have to disable the internet connection or in another 2 weeks, it will be broken again. I HATE IFIT. I have given up on this AWFUL product and have moved on. I am a much better person now for leaving this whole thing in the trash, where it belongs than fighting with CS over issues they refuse to fix. I give this service NEGATIVE stars, This has been broken for me for 5 years now.

It says you can skip the warmup, but you cannot. Many of the daily workouts go downhill first, pedaling for what, 15-20 minutes with no uphill workout?! Manually schedule your own? Why have ifit then? I found a workout or 2 that goes uphill right after the non negotiable warmup. At least I can get some use in a short time in the a.m. from this app. It's not worth upgrading or renewing though.

I have had my proform bike with iFit for about a year I called to discuss some of the shortcomings but did not get very far. I looked at this review site to see if anyone else was having problems and was a little shocked to see all the bad comments. Apart from annoying faults that are referred to here did anyone else expect to have videos rather than google still shots which are usually going backwards? There are three set video rides only with the times always the same no matter how fast or slow you go!

I recently bought a Proform Nordictrac treadmill and was annoyed when I discovered that I need to sign-up with my credit card JUST in order to activate MY treadmill. I tried to cancel 2 weeks in via email. The email was acknowledged and I was asked to email another section. I did that, got no reply and they continued to charge me monthly. IFIT is a scam, however I was just as angry at Nordictrac,/Proform and I vow not to buy anymore treadmills from them anymore. I setup home gyms all the time and this will cost them my business.

I have a 2450. I received it mid-February, paid to have it set up, and in less than a month, the screen got stuck on the ifit icon. I followed all of the directions to reset and nothing. They sent me a new console and either it snapped in shipping or their installer broke it when he came to put it on. They ordered me a new one. When I didn’t get any news about it actually shipping out, I called them and they finally told me it was on backorder—unless I called, no one would have told me! I tried to get a refund, but they offered to ship me a whole new machine. I wanted to love it but it appears this is a common issue. We’ll see if the new machine works better. Otherwise I plan to send it back. I’ve had the machine for 2 months and it’s been sitting broken in my basement for over a month.

I hate ifit so i never come here- your messages showed up in my email ( chacey and Denise ) so to Chacey, I will report to you, my machine has been broken for 2 years now. It has been sitting for 2 years with that stuck screen. I have given up on getting help. so the best of luck to you people. Whoever said about a class action lawsuit, i am surprised it hasnt happened yet. I suppose everyones too tired from trying to get their stuff to work to go fork out for an attorney. Maybe in another year ( as i look at my machine acquiring more dust ) I may look into it. Just so tired of being pi$$ed off with this company, ive washed my hands of it. Hope someone does take this company down one day.

One thing I discover over the course of time owning my Ifit equipped machine is that Ifit, as I found out, is not the correct institution to be dealing with conserving equipment malfunctions and or parts. Instead, I got instant response going through the equipment brand’s customer service; in my case, Proform. As for the Ifit issues, I found links to download the latest (APK) Android Ifit app. I’m not a computer programmer so it took a little research before I was able to navigate around the tablet/console on my spin bike. The outcome was worth the effort. Just recently I managed to get my TDF 5.0 to communicate with Zwift, a much more engaging app that Ifit.

Denise, I had the same issue. I recieved my Commercial 2950 Monday and it has never worked properly. I called Nordictrack and they told me that I had a faulty console and that they needed to send me a new one. Then they told me that it was on backorder. I purchased this treadmill from Best Buy and only had 15 days to return so I decided to just return it. They wouldn’t come pick it up so I spent the entire day packaging it up and had to get three friends over to put it back in the truck. This was the worst purchase I have ever made. Completely disappointed in a nordictrack and IFit.

iFit software killing me. Every time I go to work out on the treadmill it puts me into some sort of app install loop and crashes. I've spent more time trying to fix the software than I have working out. And your web site support system is even worse. Promoted articles from 5 years ago? How is that helpful? I would not recommend another iFit enabled product under current circumstances.

I have a Nordictrack es9i that I just bought. iFit is absolute garbage. I downloaded a workout to my tablet, but my tablet will not synch up with my elliptical. When I hit pair on my tablet (pair does not show up on my elliptical's screen) it syncs me with a treadmill and tells me I need to put the key back in to use the program. I don't have a treadmill or a key. I have an elliptical that doesnt have a key. Do you see how that would be a problem? So anything I download does not show up on my elliptical screen, only on my iPad - which won't sync with my machine. I love the concept, but what is the point if all of the hardware doesnt work like it's supposed to? I am going to call Nordictrack later today to see what they can do for me. Until then, I am stuck using the little screen and getting only half of what I paid for.

The iFit programs aren’t categorized correctly or at all! When I turn on my treadmill I want the programs to be categorized by-run- jog-hike-walk. Then once you click on which type of workout you want to do that day there should be subcategories of different difficulties. Like if I click on hike I want the next screen to show ten different hikes I can select from and different difficulties. Nope all the programs are all mashed together so I have to scroll thru all the videos to find one that I want. Horrible programming.

Pretty unhappy with our x22i purchase. The monitor piece is sluggish, pauses at random times, crashes, and videos are not 30 fps. Havent heard back from support in over 3 days. Really wish we got the Peloton...... Buyers remorse big time all due to a weak tablet interface and slow software. Also, how about the software with no search features or not being able to add series you want on the home screen. Not intuitive at all.

It would be incredibly easy to fix this software - If I hit "+" on my trainer - treat it like a gear (increase my speed and resistance) and if the workout ramps up, ramp up my intensity as well. Let me adjust the "incline" on google street maps while creating a workout. Let me adjust the overall intensity of the workout (what they think plus 7) so I get a real workout, etc. The proform bike I got was excellent, but their software is garbage.

Just got.my.c990 yesterday. Updated to the latest firmware. Cant find my 32 onboard workouts and the ifit ones freeze every 5 mins buffering. I have completed a 30min workout yet. I'm 10 mins and 20mins of buffering

I did an update on my treadmill. First time ever in the five years I had it. No problems until I download this software. It ruined my machine. It will not work at all. They’re saying the software didn’t cause it but I’ve read reviews of the exact same thing happening to other people. They refuse to take responsibility and replace my console.

I went with Nordictrack and the iFit, because I thought the concept of the workouts from all over the world would be so much better then the studio only workouts of peloton, but what good are workouts from all over, if they never work? Concept is great, execution of software is absolute junk!! I'm so disappointed in this product and had I known it would have this many issues trying to complete "any" workout without it buffering, freezing or just not working, I would've returned in fist 30 days!! I have family, friends and others asking if I'd recommend getting a Nordictrack with iFit, can you guess what my response to them will be?! I live in a place where we have winters and thought this would be great to be able to continue training on cold, snowy days, but now I'm so frustrated with it, it mainly just sits there not getting used. I could saved a bunch of money on a "non-iFit" machine! Live and learn. .

I have the norditrack fusion cst. The machine is awesome but I bought it for the wife and the ifit videos so my wife can have a guided workout. The only problem is the first workout she attempted took 48 min exactly to just get the beginner video to play. Then 12 min in it started buffering and never recovered. 20 min later we got it working again and she made it through 26 min and it crashed again. I would absolutely keep this machine if the 2k I spent on It had a press and play workout. It sucks that norditrack has such a great machine but the software ruines It for them.

I have been sending details of every workout and every crash since the purchase of the Nordictrack iFit Stationary bike in December 2019. I have had multiple conversations on the phone and in emails with absolutely NO solutions. This weekend the machine did an update and now it is TEN TIMES WORSE!!!! What a great concept with the worst execution I have every experienced. Based on the threads above and my personal experience I cannot believe any system out there working. Mine is that bad. Is there anywhere or post that the company is disclosing what they are doing to remedy the problem?

They shipped me a new tablet but I am pretty certain that will not fix it. It's the app that is the problem. They need to push an update to fix the buffering and crash issues. They did not respond to my question on when their going to push a new update

I spent 45 min on the phone with ifit yesterday. They walked me through everything I had already done, factory reset, verify updates and android version kn the tablet. They shipped me a new tablet but I am pretty certain that will not fix it. It's the app that is the problem. They need to push an update to fix the buffering and crash issues. They did not respond to my question on when their going to push a new update

They told me my tablet was out of date, even tho I just got it from them, and that they were sending me a new one, instead of a tablet they sent me a control panel for my machine??? Waiting to here back from them on what to do next. The entire reason I got the machine was for the guided workouts and now they took so long to not get me a new tablet they will not let me return my machine

I cancelled before my free year ran out. I’m not paying $30+ for this garbage. No other system has these problems. Plus the programs are more made for treadmills not ellipticals. I should have bought a Peleton. At least their stuff works.

I gave it ONE LAST TRY a few months ago, and spent some time with a don't care "Customer Service" guy by the name of Lucas Weston. He gave great Customer Service over the phone ---after waiting on hold for 54 minutes--- but when his "fix" didn't work, he went silent. NO EMAIL REPLY. NO PHONE REPLY. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I totally agree! I love the CST but the iFit makes me want to throat punch someone. And there is NO HELP. WIth as much money as they make on this, there simply is no excuse to make sure their servers can handle the load. OR just allow downloads. So freaking ass simple. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Ifit totally sucks. Al’s teen takes a lifetime to power up, then when you find a workout, it’s always lagging. Called customer service, they are terrible. Buy Peloton...
