Live Workouts are currently available for treadmills and bikes and can be accessed on your iFIT-enabled equipment or in the iFIT app on your tablet or phone. Ready to get in on the action in real time? Here’s everything you need to know about Live Workouts.
How to choose and join a Live Workout
- On your iFIT-enabled equipment console or in the iFIT app on your phone or tablet, tap the “Live” icon. Current and upcoming Live Workouts are the first to show. You can also review upcoming classes on the Live Workout Schedule up to seven days in advance.
- You can switch between Treadmill or Bike schedules by choosing the equipment you want to browse at the top of the screen. If you want to do a Live Workout on your elliptical, you’ll need to select the “Treadmill” icon to browse workouts.
- When you’re ready to join a Live Workout, choose the class you want to join and tap Join Workout.
The waiting room
About 10 minutes before a Live Workout begins, you can join the waiting room. As you’re waiting, the screen will show a QR code. Scan the QR code with your smartphone to text your trainer a question or comment. They may respond to your questions and comments during the workout!
When you join a Live Workout, you’re competing in real time with other members on the iFIT Leaderboard! There are filter options within the Leaderboard, so you can choose which members you see during your workout. For example, you can filter by age or gender.
Automatic machine adjustment
If you join a Live Workout on your iFIT-enabled equipment, you’ll be treated to the same trainer control you know and love! Your equipment’s automated adjustments transition seamlessly to match your trainer’s instructions. You can spend less time messing with buttons and knobs and more time focusing on your workout.
Live Workout variety
The Live Workout Schedule changes every week! Beginner, intermediate, and advanced workouts are available each week, with rotating iFIT Trainers and varying times.
