Marc Washington has dedicated his career as an executive, entrepreneur and advisor in health and wellness businesses to helping people lead healthier lives. He has more than two decades of experience across food & beverage, supplements, and fitness, in businesses ranging from venture-backed startups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
Inspired by the memory of his sister, Marc founded gut-health brand Supergut to take a food-first, clinically validated approach to gut and metabolic health that complements GLP-1 pathways through prebiotic-rich, functional nutrition products. Marc built the company as CEO for its first 6 years, leading to Supergut being recognized by Fast Company as a “Brand that Matters” in 2024. Marc has been recognized as a “NOSH Notable” award winner in the nutrition space, and by Ebony as one of the top entrepreneurs changing the face of health.
Previously Marc served in executive roles building household wellness brands as President & COO of Beachbody, CEO of Irwin Naturals, and CFO of The Wonderful Company.
Marc graduated from Princeton University, where he was Co-Captain of the football team and an Academic All American, and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He has been featured in various media outlets including Forbes, Fortune, The Wall St Journal, and is a frequent contributor at industry conferences and podcasts. A proud girl/boy dad, Marc resides in Los Angeles with his wife and 3 kids.
