About this Statement
This statement is made pursuant to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, California Civil Code § 1714.43 (the “Act”) and describes iFIT’s efforts to address the risk of slavery and human trafficking in its direct supply chains for the goods iFIT offers for sale.iFIT’s Business
iFIT Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “iFIT”) design, manufacture, market, and sell connected fitness equipment and digital fitness content under brands including NordicTrack, ProForm, Freemotion, and iFIT, sold through direct-to-consumer and retail channels in the United States and internationally. iFIT is headquartered in Logan, Utah, and sources components and finished goods through a global supply chain.iFIT is committed to conducting business ethically and to eradicating forced labor, slavery, human trafficking and child labor violations (collectively “Prohibited Conduct”) from its supply chains. iFIT has implemented certain processes to promote social responsibility by its material suppliers within its direct supply chain for its products.Required Disclosures
In accordance with the Act, iFIT addresses each of the five required disclosure categories below:- Verification. iFIT evaluates and addresses risks regarding Prohibited Conduct in its product supply chains through supplier screening, risk assessments, and review of social compliance audit results.
- Audits. iFIT uses qualified, independent social compliance firms to audit its Tier 1 contract manufacturers suppliers. These audits may be semi-announced or unannounced. Most audited suppliers undergo SMETA four-pillar audits covering labor standards, health and safety, environmental performance, and business ethics.
- Certification. iFIT requires its material suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into its products comply with the laws concerning the Prohibited Conduct of the countries in which they do business. iFIT has a Supplier Social Responsibility Code, which is incorporated into its manufacturing and supply contracts, that outlines and reinforces its commitment to ethical behavior at every level as a condition of doing business with iFIT. Additionally, iFIT’s Terms and Conditions of Purchase require suppliers to warrant compliance with the applicable laws concerning Prohibited Conduct.
- Accountability. iFIT maintains internal accountability standards and procedures for employees, contractors, and suppliers that violate iFIT’s standards regarding Prohibited Conduct. iFIT maintains an ethics hotline and an online reporting tool through which employees may anonymously report suspected violations of the law or iFIT Policy. Violations may result in remedial action, including termination of employment, engagement, or the applicable business relationship.
- Training. iFIT provides training on Prohibited Conduct to employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management, focusing on risk mitigation within iFIT’s supply chains.
