How iFIT on NordicTrack Turned a Trail Runner into a Virtual Coach Convert
Being a serious trail runner, Stephen Regenold of GearJunkie was skeptical about how iFIT’s virtual coach on his Commercial 2950 NordicTrack treadmill could benefit him. But by the end of a 30-minute workout through Patagonia led by Tommy Rivs Puzey, Regenold was all-in.
“The scenery was sublime, as expected, with misty forests and ocean views,” commented Regenold, “But what surprised me was Puzey’s dialogue, which meandered from fitness tips to a historical tutorial on the area’s scourge of invasive beavers.”
He continued: “From the start of the session, he (Puzey) gave legitimate tips on running technique. He talked about cell physiology and VO2 max in an uncomplicated way.”
