
Maple Chipotle Brisket
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon chipotle seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 pounds brisket
- ½ cup maple syrup
Directions
- Preheat your Camp Chef smoker to high smoke.
- In a small bowl, mix together all the spices.
- Trim any excess fat from the brisket. Brush all sides with maple syrup.
- Generously cover the whole brisket with the spice rub.
- Place on smoker. Cook on high smoke for 4 hours. (If you want to cook it at 375°F, it will only take 1–2 hours, depending on the fat content of the brisket.)
- Remove brisket and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing it into 8 equal portions.
