
Maple Peach Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 (4-ounce) center-cut pork chops
- 3 fresh peaches, peeled and cut into 8 slices each
- 1 sweet onion, cut into thin rings
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- ⅓ cup low-sodium chicken broth
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the pork chops. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until done. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the peaches, onions, thyme, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Cook for two minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the broth. Cook until the sauce begins to thicken—about 3 minutes.
- Add the pork chops back into the pan. Cook for an additional 3 minutes.
