
Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
- If using frozen chicken, just throw everything in the slow cooker. However, if chicken is thawed, add ½ cup of water to keep it from getting too dry.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Shred chicken.
- Use immediately, or refrigerate in a sealed container.
- This can be added to all sorts of recipes: soups, salads, tacos, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, quesadillas, lettuce wraps, or rice bowls.
