
Whole Grain Crackers
Ingredients
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup spelt flour
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¾ teaspoon salt, divided
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Using a pastry blender, gently cut the butter into the flours, paprika, and ¼ teaspoon salt.
- Slowly drizzle in the honey, followed by the water. Only use as much water as it takes to form a dough.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into desired shapes.
- Place the crackers on the parchment paper. Sprinkle the tops with the remaining ½ teaspoon salt. Bake for 7 minutes.
