Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

My favorite thing to make in the slow cooker is soup. It’s so easy, and the flavors meld together so well. Plus, you can cook meat, veggies, and grains together in one pot. This is one of my favorite soups and it’s so easy make. Since it’s creamy, this type of soup is often high in calories, so instead, we used fat-free half-and-half, but if you don’t want it creamy, feel free to leave this out.

          1. In a large, 6-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients (except for the half and half). Then cover and set on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
          2. 30 minutes before serving, remove and shred the chicken. Return to the slow cooker, then stir in the half and half.
