Sweet Sesame Tofu

TOTAL TIME:60 min

This simple Asian tofu is a great treat on its own or can be a tasty addition to curries, stir fries, rice bowls, and much more! Even if you’re not already a tofu lover, baked tofu is delicious and nutritious. It adds a slight crunch to a soft inside, and it’s what converted me to the tofu game. Even if you’re a meat eater, baked tofu is a great option for meatless Mondays!

          Directions
          1. Remove tofu from its container, wrap with a paper towel, and gently press the excess water out.
          2. Slice into thin strips or cubes (whichever you prefer) and place in 9×13” pan in single layer.
          3. In a small bowl, mix together everything except the tofu.
          4. Pour sauce over the tofu and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
          5. While marinating tofu, preheat oven to 375°F and line with a baking sheet or a silicone mat.
          6. Place tofu in a single layer on the baking sheet. Brush excess marinade on the top.
          7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until it starts to turn golden brown.
          8. Flip tofu and bake for another 20 minutes.
          9. Enjoy!
