As the Official Connected Treadmill and Digital Fitness Content Subscription partner of the 127th Boston Marathon®, iFIT sat down recently with trainer Heather Jenson as she prepares for Marathon Monday on April 17 and asked her to share her favorite Boston Marathon® memories. If you want to see what else we have in store for you this month, check out our blog with all the details, and help us celebrate this legendary event!
You’ve run the Boston Marathon® several times, including with iFIT in 2021. Is there a special moment that stands out from that year?
Heather: “I loved running a portion of the race with Chris Nikic. He is an amazing athlete that has Down Syndrome, and he is proving that anything is possible. And running it with is my favorite memory. There’s nothing that will compare to that for me.”
Is there anything you want to say to the iFIT Community before running this year’s Boston Marathon®?
Heather: “I am so excited, and I hope you’ll come along with all of us trainers that are running it. I hope to see you either in person or on your machine with me!”
