NordicTrack, iFit’s sister company, challenged Runner’s World to run 50 miles collectively in an 8-hour work day. NordicTrack dropped off a treadmill, and here’s what happened:
“Between meetings, interviews, and writing, 14 editors switched off in 30-minute sessions on the NordicTrack C2950. The massive screen and iFit technology let us pick locales from around the world to run through—from Antarctica to Iceland. Which means that, fortunately, we had beautiful scenery and a motivating trainer to stare at instead of awkwardly making sweaty eye-contact with editors trying to meet deadlines. Plus, the belt’s incline automatically responded to the scenery on-screen, literally helping transport us from Pennsylvania to wherever we chose to run.”
