About Ashley

Ashley Paulson has always loved long-distance running. Inspired by her dad, an avid marathon runner, she began joining him on his shorter runs at eight years old. Today, she is an AFAA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, who is also certified in kickboxing, Zumba, and cycling. As an Ironman athlete, she is a self-proclaimed cardio junkie, and she never turns down a good HIIT workout. 

About Kyoto, Japan   

You’ll ride through famous landmarks in this series, including Hikone Castle, Yasu River, and the Sagano Bamboo Forest. Each workout was filmed in Kyoto, Japan—an area famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples. It is also known for its beautiful gardens, Shinto shrines, traditional wooden houses, and imperial palaces. 

This series will allow you to experience the most beautiful sights this city and country have to offer. You’ll ride and train on the roads and trails to move your body while you take in the beauty of this historically significant region. 

About the workouts 

Ashley will lead you through a total of 12 workouts in this series. Each ride is designed to help you build strength and endurance in a short workout. You’ll push through strength climbs, intervals, and speed workouts. 

In this series, you’ll experience beautiful locations like the Echi River, Hikone Castle, and the Kojinyama Shrine.
