Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 2 inches fresh ginger sliced
  • 5 cinnamon sticks

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan boil 6 cups of water, ginger and cinnamon sticks. And cover with a lid for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in brown sugar until fully dissolved and continue to boil for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat. This can be enjoyed hot or cold, prior to serving remove ginger and cinnamon sticks.
