Walk and Run Your Way Through the Pacific Northwest with Tommy Rivs

If you’ve ever wanted to fall back in love with running or experience what it’s like to build endurance without burnout, the Joy of Running Part 3: Oregon is your next must-do series on iFIT.

Led by iFIT Trainer Tommy Rivs, this newest chapter in the series takes you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. From coastal cliffs and beaches to waterfalls and trails, you’ll make your way through alpine forests that are rugged and beautiful. But this is more than a scenic tour: it’s a smart, structured walk-run progression designed to help your body adapt gradually so you can build confidence and consistency as you pursue aerobic fitness.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to return to fitness, this series is built to meet you where you are and guide you forward toward your goals.

Explore Oregon with Tommy Rivs

Oregon is a runner’s dream destination: dense evergreen forests, rugged coastlines, powerful waterfalls, and mountain trails that seem to go on forever. In this series, iFIT Trainer Tommy Rivs uses the terrain for inspiration and as a training tool, guiding you through iconic locations like Tumalo Falls, Cape Kiwanda, Ecola State Park, and so much more.

Each workout blends intentional training with natural beauty, so you’re not just running in Oregon, you’re building something special with each step.

What is Joy of Running?

This the third installment of this incredible series, designed around one goal: to help you build a sustainable running routine through progressive running and walking workouts and steady endurance sessions.

Instead of pushing all-out speed, this series focused on building a strong aerobic base to support long-term improvement while reducing the risk of burnout or injury. You’ll learn how to pace yourself, recover properly, and progress gradually so running feels less like a punishment and more like a joyful experience.

You don’t need to run fast to be a runner, you just need to start. With Joy of Running Part 3: Oregon, you’ll build meaningful endurance, explore legendary locations, and rediscover what running means to you.

So lace up, hit play, and let’s find your joy in running!
