In 2024, the TCS Sydney Marathon received over 79,000 applications, making it one of the most in-demand marathons in the world. Capped at 35,000 runners, the event became the largest marathon in Australia, a milestone achievement as it joined the Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2025.
But with more qualified runners than ever and limited spots, thousands were left out. As the Official Fitness Training Partner of the TCS Sydney Marathon, iFIT is proud to offer runners a second chance to take part in the 2025 race and represent Team iFIT in Sydney.

We will be giving 10 runners the opportunity to cross the 2025 TCS Sydney Marathon finish line with Team iFIT. Not only will runners get a chance to run and join Team iFIT, they will also receive guidance and mentorship from two iFIT Trainers.
Entrants will have until May 29, 2025 at 11:59 pm PT to share a video via social media (Instagram and Facebook) highlighting why they want to run the TCS Sydney Marathon in 2025.
Videos up to 3 minutes maximum are acceptable. Video submissions must tag @iFIT and use #TeamiFIT and #iFITMarathonContest.
Applications and videos can then be submitted through this form.
All videos will be initially screened by iFIT staff to ensure video contest guidelines are followed for acceptance into this video contest. Accepted videos will be reviewed by a panel of iFIT staff, trainers, and representatives from the respective marathons. Collectively, this panel will select the winners. Winners will be contacted via email.
This opportunity runs from May 12, 2025, at 12:00:01 am PDT until May 29, 2025, at 11:59 pm PDT. The iFIT Team will review all submissions and announce recipients on June 9th, 2025. Click here for the Official Rules.
Only U.S. (including U.S. territories), UK, Canada, Mexico, U.K., and Australia residents aged 18 and older are eligible to participate.
