As a local tradition for over 30 years, you’ll join the many residents of Queen City and their families for this run, where you’ll get heaps of cityscape views. Along the way, Richard will touch on all that he’s grateful for this holiday, so come ready to soak up the good vibes!

We’re thrilled to launch the iFIT Community Virtual 5K Option for the Charlotte Turkey Trot 5K! We’ve partnered with the organizers of this event to bring you something the iFIT family has been asking for.
When you sign up for this paid option, you can participate along with your iFIT Community on your equipment or mobile device and earn the exclusive Turkey Trot medal. After the race, you’ll be able to redeem the medal. This option has limited availability, so make like the early bird and click here to register before 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

Meet iFIT Trainer Richard Biglia
With a background in musical theater, iFIT Trainer Richard Biglia is no stranger to the stage. He’s performed at The LA Phil and the Hollywood Bowl, to name a few of his accolades. Richard began working out to add to his dance training but quickly realized he had a passion for health and fitness. He dove headfirst into exercise and became an NASM Certified Personal Trainer to share his fitness journey and inspire others to break a sweat. Today, Richard is passionate about helping others get their muscles moving and achieve their goals, both in fitness and in life.
How it works
On Thursday, November 24 at 9:10 a.m. ET, you’ll join iFIT Trainer Richard Biglia on your iFIT-enabled treadmill, elliptical, or through the iFIT app on your smartphone or tablet.
Take on the Charlotte Turkey Trot 5K however you’d like. Push for a new PR or walk it out for a lighthearted morning in the city. It’s up to you! After finishing the race, you’ll receive your digital reward in your Trophy Case.
Joining the Live Race
Schedule the Charlotte Turkey Trot 5K on your iFIT-enabled treadmill, elliptical, or the iFIT app on your smartphone or tablet. On race day, access the race on the home screen or in your calendar. Join at least 10 minutes ahead of the starting time and scan the QR code to ask Richard questions about fitness, nutrition, or anything else!

What is the iFIT Community Virtual 5K Option?
We are excited to partner with event organizers and offer our members the opportunity to purchase medals for select Live Events. The medals are distributed by the event organizers, so be sure to check out the Live Events Calendar about other events offering this option.
Does the medal come with my entry?
Yes. The cost for this option is $20, which includes the Charlotte Turkey Trot 5K medal. You are not required to submit your timing or proof of completion to claim this reward.
When will I get my medal?
All medals will be sent after the event by the CPI Security Charlotte Turkey Trot 5K event organizers. You can expect to receive your medal by Thursday, December 15, 2022.
