Build Confidence on the Bike in Death Valley
Ride through one of America's most dramatic landscapes while building the skills and fitness to become a stronger, more confident cyclist.
In the Death Valley National Park Speed Development Series, iFIT Trainer Casey Gilbert takes you through six scenic rides designed to build endurance, strength, and pacing, one interval at a time. The workouts are approachable, but the challenge gradually increases, giving you a chance to find your rhythm, push your limits, and see what you're capable of.

A Little More, One Ride at a Time
Intervals don't have to mean going all-out from the start. Casey's approach gives you room to build.
The series begins with five rounds of one-minute efforts and two-minute recoveries at Father Crowley. From there, the work periods and recovery times change as you progress, challenging you to sustain your effort for longer and recover more efficiently.
By the final ride, you'll be tackling two-minute intervals and alternating between seated and standing efforts as you climb toward Dante's View.
Along the way, you'll work on:
Endurance: Build your ability to sustain effort throughout a ride.
Strength: Use challenging efforts and climbs to put your legs to work.
Pacing: Learn how to manage your effort so you can push when it counts.
Confidence: Progress through each workout and finish knowing you can handle more than when you started

Six Rides Through Death Valley
Every workout takes you somewhere new.
Start at Father Crowley, then continue through 20 Mule Canyon and Inyo Mine as the intervals become more challenging. Ride through the historic Ballarat Ghost Town, take in the massive Ubehebe Crater, and finish with a climb toward Dante's View.
Your Next Ride Starts Here
You don't need to be an interval expert to get started. Casey will guide you through each effort, recovery, and progression while the landscapes of Death Valley provide a destination worth riding toward.
Six rides. Incredible scenery. A stronger, more confident you.
