
Join Us for the Live Port Washington Harborview 8K Race!
Kick off summer with an evening race on the Wisconsin shore of Lake Michigan with iFIT Trainer Knox Robinson in the virtual Port Washington Harborview 8K. You’ll link up with Knox and your fellow racers to cover 5 unforgettable miles on the evening of Saturday, June 12. Set your own pace as you participate in realtime with the iFIT community! Complete the race live to earn an exclusive finisher’s medal or join anytime to relive race day.
How it works
On Saturday evening, June 12, at 8:30 p.m. ET, meet Knox on your iFIT-enabled treadmill, elliptical, or through the iFIT app on your smartphone or tablet.
Savor that sense of accomplishment as you cross the finish line! If you’ve joined the live event, you’ll receive your exclusive finisher’s medal in the mail. We’ll send an email after you’ve completed the event with instructions on how to claim your reward.
Not joining us live? No worries! The Port Washington Harborview 8K will remain available in the iFIT Library, so you can relive the excitement whenever you’d like!
Joining the race
Join us at the Port Washington Harborview 8K race by tapping the “Live” icon on your iFIT-enabled treadmill, elliptical, or in the iFIT app. Step on up to 10 minutes ahead of the start time, then scan the QR code to ask Knox your pre-race questions. He might just answer them during the race as you’re cruising down the boardwalk together!
Training for the Port Washington Harborview 8K
Whether you are an 8K novice or a seasoned runner, iFIT Trainer Knox Robinson is here to help you make this your strongest race to date. Start your journey with the South Africa Foundations of Running Series, where Knox will share his best running tips, teach you how to gauge RPE and why it’s important, and coach you on running techniques. You’ll take in stunning views of South Africa as you build a base to support you over increasing distances!
Ready for the next step? Once you are completing 5Ks with confidence, your training can continue in the Foundations of Running: Increase Your Speed Endurance Series! Catch up with Knox in Tanzania, where you’ll develop speed through a challenging series of interval exercises in inspiring landscapes. You’ll train at the pristine shoreline of the reef-rich Nungwi Beach, on the bustling city streets of Dar Es Salaam, and more!
