As the summer winds down, the fall and winter Live Events schedule is just getting started. Get ready for our longest distance LIVE bike ride to date in Gran Fondo Maryland! Celebrate the changing seasons with iFIT Trainer Ashley Paulson and this scenic 30-mile East Coast ride. Together, you’ll bask in autumn’s colorful leaves as you cruise from Catoctin Mountain National Park to historic downtown Frederick, Maryland!
Meet iFIT Trainer Ashley Paulson
Raised in Utah County, Ashley Paulson has always loved long-distance running. Inspired by her dad, an avid marathon runner, she began joining him on his shorter runs at eight years old. Today, she is an AFAA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, who is also certified in kickboxing, Zumba, and cycling. As an Ironman athlete, she is a self-proclaimed cardio junkie, and she never turns down a good HIIT workout. Some of her favorite things to do are hike, paddleboard, and eat!
How it works
Meet iFIT Trainer Ashley Paulson at the starting line on Sunday, September 18 at 8 a.m. ET for a brisk East Coast ride.
After finishing Gran Fondo Maryland, you’ll receive your digital reward in your Trophy Case. Don’t let the length of this ride keep you on the sidelines. This event is meant for ALL iFIT members to enjoy, so join us for as much of the route suits you that day! Ashley will complete the full 30-mile route in approximately 2 hours, so set a pace that feels right for you.
Joining the Live Ride
Schedule Gran Fondo Maryland on your iFIT-enabled bike or the iFIT app on your smartphone or tablet. On race day, access the race on the home screen or in your calendar. Join at least 10 minutes ahead of the starting time and scan the QR code to ask Ashley questions about training tips, nutrition, or anything else that comes to mind. She might answer yours live!
Train for the Ride
Want to test out the route beforehand? Add this Google Maps workout to your agenda in the weeks leading up to Gran Fondo Maryland. You’ll be able to see what the climbs are all about, so by race day, you’re prepared for take-off! Plus, Google Maps workouts count toward your 2022 milestones!
