Whether you’re new to iFit or just getting started in your fitness journey, we are here to help guide you every step of the way! We’ve rounded up our top 10 most popular workouts for beginners to help you get moving and see some incredible sights from the United States to exotic locations all over the world. 

1. Beginner Incline Series

Available on the treadmill, incline trainer, and elliptical, this is our most popular beginner series. There are 12 beginner hiking workouts in this series, led by iFit Trainer John Peel. Each workout is around 30 minutes and is designed to help you build endurance and hiking ability, all while taking in the incredible sights around Lake Tahoe!

2. Grand Canyon Hiking Series

Available on the treadmill and incline trainer, this is another popular series for beginners from iFit Trainer John Peel. This 15-workout hiking series will take you to the world-famous Grand Canyon, from the top of the South Rim to the Colorado River. You’ll tackle steep inclines and descend thousands of feet through this iconic natural wonder!

3. Ancient Egypt Walking Tour

Available on the treadmill, incline trainer, and elliptical, iFit users can’t get enough of this incredible series in Ancient Egypt. This series includes 14 walks that are both a workout and a history lesson, as Ramy tells you about one of the oldest civilizations. You’ll have unique experiences as you explore iconic landmarks and ancient tombs together!

4. Costa Rica Walking Series

Available on the treadmill, incline trainer, elliptical, and strider, this is another popular series from iFit Trainer John Peel! These 12 beginner workouts are 30 minutes long, focused on helping you build endurance and increase overall strength. Adventure into forests, onto beaches, and even near volcanoes in Costa Rica!

5. Easter Island Walking Tour

Available on the treadmill, elliptical, and incline trainer, archeologist Dr. Dale Simpson will lead you through a fascinating series of 14 walks. He will teach you the incredible history of Easter Island, its people, and its landmarks!

6. Scottish Highland Series

Available on the treadmill, elliptical, and incline trainer, you’ll hike alongside film actor and iFit Guide Graham McTavish in this 14-workout series. He’ll tell you about the history of the area as you explore the breathtaking mountains together. He will even share his experiences acting in popular movies!

7. Shimanami Kaido Beginner Series

This is our most popular beginner bike series! iFit Trainer Ashley Paulson will coach you through six beginner interval rides in Japan. She’ll help you work on strength and speed as you take in the incredible views of locations like the Kosan-ji Temple, Hakata Island, and the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge!

8. New Zealand Trekking Series

Available on the treadmill, incline trainer, and elliptical, this incredible, 20-workout series takes you on hikes through New Zealand’s North and South Islands. Led by iFit Guides and actors Graham McTavish and Jed Brophy, the pair will tell you stories about filming in this incredible country as you hike together.

9. Hawaiian Islands Cross-Training Series

Available on the treadmill and incline trainer, this beginner cross-training program incorporates running with bodyweight workouts with iFit Trainer Kirsty Godso. Designed with the beginner in mind, this 12-workout series is a great introduction to both running and cross training. Best of all, it gives you an incredible view of sandy beaches and lush forests!

10. Iceland Walking Series

Available on the treadmill, elliptical, and incline trainer, you can explore Iceland with iFit Trainer Jonnie Gale in this series! It includes 16 total workouts, or 4 workouts per week, for 4 weeks. You’ll start with a strength workout each week, so keep your dumbbells and a mat nearby as you explore the sights of Iceland!

BONUS! Moab Beginner Series 

We couldn’t finish the list without including this incredible beginner bike series! iFit Trainer Nicole Meline guides you through 12 workouts in this series, through Moab, Utah. She will introduce you to tempo, endurance, and interval workouts along the way. Best of all, she’ll teach you the basics of a training plan while working to improve your speed and stamina!
