The trail is waiting. Get ready for it with iFIT Trainer Darryl “BullyJuice” Williams in the Yosemite National Park Train to Terrain Series.
This eight-part treadmill series combines cardio and functional strength to help you build the muscular endurance you need to take on changing terrain. Each workout gradually increases the length and intensity of your intervals, giving you a progressive way to build confidence, strength, and stamina.
And you'll do it while virtually exploring some of Yosemite National Park's most iconic locations.

Train for the Terrain
Hiking outdoors asks more of your body than simply moving forward. You have to handle changes in pace, elevation, and terrain, and keep going when the trail gets challenging.
That's the idea behind Train to Terrain.
BullyJuice combines walking intervals with functional training to help prepare your body for the demands of the trail. The workouts start with steady walking and shorter efforts, then gradually build toward longer intervals and sustained work.
It's a beginner-friendly progression designed to help you get stronger and more comfortable with challenging terrain.
Eight Workouts. One Progressive Build.
The series begins at Stafford Point with a steady walk, then takes you to Dewey Point as you begin to pick up the pace. By Inspiration Point and Tunnel Tree, you'll start working through short intervals designed to prepare you for longer efforts.
As the series progresses, so does the challenge:
Short intervals introduce higher-effort work.
Longer intervals build muscular endurance and stamina.
Progressive workouts prepare you for increasingly sustained efforts.
Functional training complements the cardio work to help you build strength for the trail.
Longer work periods culminate in three five-minute intervals in the final workout.
Workouts range from 20 to 30 minutes, so you can build your fitness without needing hours on the treadmill.

From Yosemite's Valley to the High Country
Your training takes you through some of Yosemite's most memorable destinations, from Stafford Point and Dewey Point to Inspiration Point, Tunnel Tree, Crane Flat Lookout, Four Mile Trail, Union Point, and Glacier Point.
The scenery changes as your training progresses. So does the work.
By the time you reach Glacier Point, you'll take on three five-minute intervals, putting the endurance you've built throughout the series to the test.
Get Ready to Go Further
You don't have to be an experienced trail runner to train for the outdoors.
With BullyJuice guiding you through each progressive workout, you'll build the strength, stamina, and confidence to take on more challenging terrain, one interval at a time.
