Join Us for the Live Hippity-Hop 5K Race!

There’s nothing quite like race day—the adrenaline rush before the start, the roar of the crowd, the feeling of accomplishment as you cross the finish line. At iFit, we’re bringing all of this race day excitement right to you with the live Hippity-Hop 5K race! 

Run or walk this live race right along with iFit Trainer Heather Jenson and experience the thrills and challenges of a 5K. With Heather’s racing experience, competitive edge, and encouragement, you’ll enjoy every step of your 3.1 miles.

Already pumped for race day? Here’s what you need to know in the meantime.

How it works

On April 3, 2021 at 11:30 a.m., EDT, meet iFit Trainer Heather Jenson on your iFit-enabled treadmill or elliptical. You can also join via the iFit app on your smartphone or tablet. You’ll virtually link up with Heather in Peoria, Arizona for 3.1 unforgettable miles in about 37 minutes. Run or walk a 5K race in real time along with other competitors and the iFit community! 

  • The race starts at 11:30 a.m., EDT on April 3, 2021.
  • Join up to 10 minutes early and scan the QR code on the screen to ask Heather questions.
  • Submit your questions and comments before the race begins, and she might answer them live… during the race!

Cross the finish line together and let that feeling of pride surge! If you join the race live, you’ll receive an exclusive finisher’s medal in the mail. We’ll send you an email when you’ve completed the race with instructions on how to claim your reward.

Can’t join us live? Don’t worry! The Hippity-Hop 5K Race will be available in the iFit Library. While you won’t earn a race medal, you can still relive the excitement of race day whenever you’d like!

How to join

You can access the race by tapping the “Live” icon on your iFit-enabled treadmill or elliptical or in the iFit app. Hop on up to 10 minutes ahead of the start time, then scan the QR code to ask Heather questions before you take off together. She might answer them live as you’re pounding the pavement during the race!

How to train

Let’s start training now! To get your body and mind ready to conquer the race, consider taking on the Run Your First 5K Series with iFit Trainer Knox Robinson. Get the expert scoop on what to expect on race day, how to prepare, and strategies for staying mentally focused. Bonus: You’ll be treated to beautiful Oregon landscape views in these 12 walk, hike, and run workouts.

Need more motivation? Join the March Sun & Sand Challenge and make a commitment to consistent training! To complete the challenge, finish all 12 workouts in the series by March 31, and you’ll be eligible to receive an exclusive reward. Enjoy tropical views, sandy beaches, and delightful waterfalls as you walk and run your way through March.
